Opalescence PF is a carbamide peroxide whitening gel for use with properly fitting whitening trays. Choose from five strengths, three flavours and four syringe quantities, with available combinations shown in the selector above. The PF formula contains potassium nitrate and fluoride. Select your exact strength, flavour and pack size before adding to your basket, and follow the instructions supplied with your gel.

Gradual overnight whitening
Achieve a beautifully brighter smile with gradual whitening over longer sessions. Our lowest concentration is a good option when sensitivity is a concern and you prefer an overnight routine.
Faster daytime whitening
For a noticeably whiter smile with faster action than 10% and less time in your trays. A useful step up if you prefer a daytime whitening routine.
Faster action, fewer hours
For a brilliantly white smile with a faster acting gel and a shorter daily session. A practical choice when you can set aside a few hours for whitening.
Fast action, short sessions
For a brighter, whiter smile with concentrated whitening action in short sessions. Designed to fit into 30–60 minutes, with sensitivity an important consideration at this strength.
The shortest daily sessions
For a bright white smile with our most concentrated option and the shortest daily wear time. Designed for 15–30 minute sessions; sensitivity needs careful consideration. Do not wear overnight.
Lower strengths can still achieve excellent whitening results; your final shade and number of applications depend on your teeth and staining. Wear times shown are per application, not the full course. Higher concentrations can increase sensitivity. If significant sensitivity develops, stop treatment and speak to your dentist. Opalescence PF is a carbamide peroxide gel. The percentage changes the recommended wear time as well as the concentration.
A higher percentage is not automatically the best choice. Consider sensitivity, previous whitening experience and the amount of time you want to wear your trays.
Yes. Opalescence take-home gel is designed for use with properly fitting whitening trays. If you do not already have suitable trays, see our reusable teeth whitening trays.
The selector includes Mint, Regular and Melon, although flavour availability varies by strength. Mint is the only flavour currently offered with the 45% option. Choose the exact flavour, strength and quantity shown in the selector before adding the product to your basket.
We offer packs of two, four, six or eight syringes. The selected quantity is shown in the variant picker and basket.
Use a small amount of gel in the tooth compartments of a properly fitting whitening tray. Follow the instructions for your exact formula and strength, then remove the tray and clean it as directed. Avoid overfilling the tray so excess gel does not spread onto your gums.
Follow the storage instructions on your syringe or packaging, keep the gel away from heat and direct sunlight, and check the expiry date before use. Storage requirements can vary between formulas.
PF refers to potassium nitrate and fluoride, which are included in the gel formula alongside the carbamide peroxide whitening ingredient.
